Corpus Invictus

Another project that idkmybffspock and I have taken on is the creation of an OC. In reading that Siddig el Faddir and Nana Visitor have a son whose godfather is Andrew Robinson, we created Oatis, the biological son of Kira and Bashir whose family also extends to Garak and Odo by proxy. We've created a series of artwork and drabbles on the subject. Here they are in more or less chronological order.

Bonnie was, in fact, married to someone else the entire time she was living with Clyde. It is widely believed that Bonnie never killed anyone during any of their crime sprees. Bonnie’s leg was horribly burned in a car accident. And Bonnie and Clyde expressed a desire to be buried together when they met what they believed to be their inevitable end.

The people on this planet are as far from Vulcan as possible -- everything is everyone's business, emotions are on display everywhere, everyone wants to hug everyone else all the time, etc. There is almost no vegetarian food suitable for a Vulcan diet. And Spock misses the Enterprise. Bonus points for him realizing that somehow the ship has become like a home/family for him, because I am a sucker for stuff like that." So my brain apparently got tired of handporn and resorted instead to earporn. Enjoy, I guess. And I decided that Scotty was a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fan, what with his belief in the importance of towels.

This is another of my long pieces that got way out of hand before I could battle it back into submission (in fact, I think it's even longer than Filial Piety). It's also my first AU in the Star Trek fandom and deals with the idea of a more humanized Spock with far less control over his telepathic abilities. There is also, as the rating states, some very brief disturbing imagery in this one, so folks who are easily triggered may want to tread carefully.
And finally, I will be going out of town for a week on Friday, so this may be my last update for awhile. I'm want to try to write while I'm gone but have no idea how feasible that will be.
